You definitely want to choose shirts with a blue or green tone which will bring out your killer eyes.
Of course keep classic white, black, biege, gray shirts on hand for other events.
6'1", Hum....let me think of some designers from Macey's/Burdines, Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord and Taylor. There are some New York/Miami lines that are nice for your height too.

Mermaid, you like commando? To each is own. I always figured there was a purpose to underwear. Now with a kilt, of course, commando is the only way to go. I love the 'Kilt walk' men automatically use when properly attired.

It looks like the suit you are wearing in your Avatar is smooth. You would do well with the grays, classic white....maybe sable blue for shirts, ties, etc.
Getting back to the thread, boxers are very in...some of us ladies wear them as shorts around the house. Personally like the classic white guy shirts, nice to sleep in.
