No, I was just speaking for the rest of 2010. My job has a vacation blackout from December 26 - January 15.

We can do Ambergris Cay in Belize for $699 for either Dec 19-26 or Dec 26-Jan2. (That is $100 per day which is great for high season. Regular price is $749)

This package includes:
Lodging in A/C rooms for 7 nights
Hotel tax
2 Tank dive per person per day for 5 days
Tanks and weights
Round trip transfers to and from the San Pedro Airstrip or the Ferry to our
hotel.

Would this interest anyone? The dive shop and hotel are together in one place and a few blocks from town.

Wow, that is a good price for Belize at that time! and includes airfare from San Pedro out to Ambergris Cay as well?! WOW.

No it does not include air from BZE to San Pedro. It includes the taxi/transfer from the airport to the hotel and back.

However it is still a good price. Anything that is $100 or less a day is great price. The air will probably be high. That is the real issue with doing a trip during this timeframe. kamala

I was looking at airfares from Dec. 26 - Jan. 2 (perfect dates in my opinion) but the airfares to BZE are outrageous!

Still looking for other places that have good deals and availability. So far Saba/St Kitts via EV, Belize and hopefully more to come.

The best airfares I have found for that timeframe have been to either Cozumel or San Juan. Belize is looking rough at the moment. And that was from either Florida or Colorado.

I am looking at a good deal to Belize and will have SD.com book the trip for me but I do not want to go by myself. Does anyone out there want to head to Belize?? I need a buddy or two or three.

If anyone wants to do Belize for Christmas or New Year´s Eve let me know. That is if you can get good air to BZE. SD.com will do a group trip there in mid Jan so if you really wanted to take advantage of the cheap rates we got...we´ll be there when the air should have gone down. Full details coming soon so you can start booking.

Firm Dates will be Jan 9 to 16th 2010.
