Hate to say it but I saw this live when it originally aired. Dates me somewhat... ~sigh~

LOL. I remember not missing a Saturday Night Live show back in the good old days of John Belushi, Dan Ankroid, Gilda Radner and them. Chris Farley was one of my favorites too.

Then you must have seen Jane Curtain and Dan Ackroyd doing a Looks at Books segment for a book called 'Mauled'. Try finding that on YouTube... hahaha :respect:

Personally, I was a big fan of the "Land Shark", starting with the knock at the door telling Gilda that he was delivering a 'Candygram'.... :respect: "Fred Garvin, Male Prostitute" (complete with Garret Morris as 'Slick' the Pimp) was right up there with the "Land Shark" though!

I was grilling for some friends in June when I turned to the crowd and went: CHEESEBURGER. CHEESEBURGER. CHEESEBURGER. CHEESEBURGER.

I was met with a yard full of blank faces.

Yes, the classic SNL shows were great fun and I rarely missed them. Today's show is nowhere near as funny but I do watch it occasionally.

It's almost Halloween, time to get out my CONEHEAD, and partake of massive amounts of consumables.
