Thanks for all of the warm birthday greetings last week! I had a great birthday and turning forty wasn't so bad after all.

Living in Lakeland, Florida has an advantage as a central location for getting to some of Florida's great dive locations. I have been certified a little over a year but haven't had the oportunities to dive as often as I would like. I plan to change that after April 15th (I am a CPA). Divegirlzoe and Walter got me back in the water last weekend after a 6 month hiatus. It was great! Divegirlzoe and I are planning a long weekend dive trip in the Carribean on Memorial Day weekend. If any of you have suggestions as to where we should go please let me know. This trip is my husband's birthday gift to me. He is not a diver but encourages my enthusiasm for the sport. I look forward to meeting you all soon!

I'm not sure I'd call her a geek. She's a fun dive buddy.

Bummer on not being able to join us! However we'll certainly have tons of pictures! We'll just have to have you join us on one of the other trips. Hey Walter is wanting to try the fun and adventure that only North Carolina brings...maybe you can join him on one of those trips? ;) We'll be doing North Carolina the 4th of July and the first weekend in October!!! :2cool: (These are personally my favorite dive destinations....U-Boats...WWI wrecks....lots of artifacts....and large...VERY LARGE animals...and I don't just mean the land variety either!!! LOL!!!) :wow:

That's a great idea!

Sharon, talk to divegirlzoe, get her to post an intro. Then get your single and buddyless friends to sign up here and for the NC trip. We'll have a blast!

:2cool: Sharon -- again :wow:...glad you stopped by and hope that you will call this home. There are a lot of knowledgeable people here that are ready and willing to help in anyway, all you have to is ask.

Don't forget to take a look at our website at SingleDivers.com. We are constantly upgrading and would love to see you on one of our upcoming trips.

Again, welcome to our little place on the net.

Turning 40 was a BIG DEAL for me. My mother got me a T-Shirt that said, "I'm not 40, I'm 39.95". That made me feel better. Don't know why, but it did. Hope you enjoy the 40's as much as I am.
