Hello July 19-25 Atocha Divers! We are putting the finishing touches on all details for the two Atocha dive weeks that will take place in June. Now we are ready to turn our attention to you folks who will be coming in July! We have set up an Atocha Support PRIVATE Forum where you will be able to find specific details relating to your week. There you'll find documentation (Contract, Waivers, Rooming/Diving Survey, etc.), transportation details, Vandenburg info, gear talk, accommodation info, and good reads about the Atocha.

By tomorrow, you'll each receive an email from me with details as to how to access the Atocha Support PRIVATE Forum, along with the password. Stay tuned! -cat fish

Hi folks.... Just a note to let you know I haven't forgotten you!! There are a couple of points of confusion in the documentation for this site. I'm trying to clean it up before I 'let you in' so bear with me for another day. I am awaiting a reply from the Mel Fisher folks. So again... stay tuned!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FISHER FAMILY UPDATE:

Much discussion has arisen regarding the affects of the oil spill on the dives and how the Fisher Organization will handle cancellations if the oil reaches Key West. I have rec'd a final decision on this and am happy to announce that if the oil reaches Key West preventing divers from diving that the Fisher Organization will cancel the trip and provide a full refund of the $2500 paid. This is regardless of whether you have trip insurance or not. The only exception would be if we were in the middle of a trip and the oil arrived DURING the trip. At that point a partial refund would be given for the diving and/or any other components of the trip that could no longer be utilized due to the oil spill.

I am sure this is the reply that you all hoped for and kudos to the Fisher Organization for taking this course of action. - Kamala

I've sent the packet in with dive ins info and the the other info ,can't access the doc. page you sent weight requirement 14lbs and I have all my other equipment.
