Guess it's 2010 now. On the one hand it's nice to have a fresh start, a new year. On the other much of what I planned to get done during this break didn't get done. So I'm a little worried as I head into the next week. I know I have tomorrow, and if things get really tight I have Sunday, but I'd really like things to be different, more organized, more clear the directions I want to take, more focused. I guess I'll have to do the best I can and remember that I am human but how do you really make new resolutions work anyway?
Or do you give up essentially before you begin?
I really hate saying this but I really don't like listing out resolutions because I never seem to be able to keep them. With that I do have goals for 2010 but I need to finish writing( it's blog /diary entry) it up as I have it tied into a interspective reflection of 2009.
There are ways to accomplish your goals. Here's the primer....
1. Write them out. Yes list all of them.
2. Once that is done you need to priortize the top 3. (Don't delete anything from the list but choose your top 3 or 4 in ANY ORDER just choose 3 or 4 and move them to the top.)
Stay tuned for the next 2 steps tomorrow...(Work on getting these 2 steps done today! REMEMBER the longest journey begins with a single step...or begins with the 2 steps list above!)
