I know, there are those who believe any dive with me is a fossil dive.
If anyone is interested in a fossil dive at Venice Beach, I'll be diving there about 8:00 AM this coming Sunday. Last weekend we had 15 feet of visibility. Hopefully, the viz hasn't deserted us.

Viz averages 2 - 6 feet at that location. Sometimes it's measured in inches. The best viz I've ever seen there was 30 ft. That was back in October of '98. Maybe someday, I'll see it again. I've also seen (or not seen) zero viz there.
