hmmm 6,500 feet hey. Guess I better invest in one of those space age liquid oxygen (!?!wtf) suits that Ed Harris had in "The Abyss".
The sea does not belong to despots. On its surface iniquitous rights can still be exercised, men can fight there, devour each other there, and transport all terrestrial horrors there. But at thirty feet below its level their power ceases, their influence dies out, their might disappears.

Hmmm.... let's see ... what would your PO2 be in liquid oxygen at 6500 feet?
6500ft/33ft = 196.9696.... so thats roughly 197 atmospheres... ouch! so for a start you would breathe a tank dry in a few breaths.
PO2 of air would be 0.21 x 196.9696.... = 41.363636... you would pass out before you would ever reached anywhere near 6500 ft! You could probably work out some complicated bottom mix to get over the O2 toxicity problem. The tech divers can pick up on that discussion, I aint a tech diver. However u would still be narced to the outer reaches of the solar system on whatever else you were mixing the O2 with.
etc...Im not sure how much water or liquid O2 would compress at depth, any one have a clue?
Just as well theres more than enough to see in a life time above 130'

Liquids don't compress, so if you had a liquid oxygen mix that you could breathe like Ed did in Abyss, their would be no narcosis as the mix that you breathe at the surface would be at the same partial pressure at depth. You could actually breath 100% O2 at depth with a liquid mix and not tox.Im not sure how much water or liquid O2 would compress at depth, any one have a clue?
