NITROX UPDATE:

Ok so Georoc01 wants 2 tanks only for the am dives but wants air for pm and wants 100's for all of them.

Kelly will do 3 nitrox daily.

SO...if anyone else wants 3 nitrox daily we have them OR if 3 people want only nitrox in the am we can do that...(not sure if we'll have enough air 100's or not as I just saw where Krystal has requested 100's as well.)

So anyone else for nitrox or air 100's? And I will figure out how many air 100's we have as well. kamala

Cabana upgrade is $ 50.00 usd + tax per room, per night double
occupancy Tax is 15% so pricing would be $57.50 d/o per night extra or $115 per night extra for s/o

Ellen you are doing the 7 nite pkg so that would be $115 s/o rate x 7 = $805 more!

Actually, if I am diving Nitrox, here is what I want to do..

Fri Oct 29th am Nitrox 100, Nitrox 80, pm Nitrox 80
Sat Oct 30th am Nitrox 100, Nitrox 80, pm Nitrox 80
Sun Oct 31 am Nitrox 100, Nitrox 80..off Sunday pm

So if this is ok, I'll send you the $110 for the Nitrox.

Hey Gobie I will post for you in the thread so everyone has the same info that helps with trips! Yes you get a free night dive. Thanks for participating in the costume contest! You should use nitrox for every dive BUT as long as you switch your computer you can be fine without it on the 3rd dive of the day. I will dive it every dive as will many to be safer.

Thank you for your info Gobie...we did know you were d/o. And you arrive the 28th with the group in Cozy...the hotel is ready for you. I will have your final total today...so let me know if you are doing nitrox every dive or just the 2 am dives? Kamala

100 cf Tanks UPDATE:

Ok here is the scoop:

We have 6 nitrox 100's reserved
We have 6 air 100's reserved

Keep in mind the following:

1. You can switch from air to nitrox but you need to change your computers. This is incumbent on YOU...if you forget you risk hurting yourself.

2. If you change from 100's to 80's or vice versa you have to totally readjust your tank bands. (This takes effort and in some cases a lot of strength.)

3. All tanks either 80's or 100's are aluminum

So far we have:

1. Kelly doing 3 100's nitrox tanks each day (This leaves 3 nitrox tanks per day available)

2. Krystal is doing 3 air 100's each day (This leaves 3 air tanks per day)

3. George is doing 1 nitrox 100 daily and 2 80's nitrox daily except for last day where he is doing 1 nitrox 100 and 1 nitrox 80.

Have I missed anyone?

Also keep in mind that 100's are truly for those who are very heavy on gas needs. The beauty of Cozumel is when you run out of air you can easily go up since most dives are shallow towards the end and we are drift diving meaning the boat is following us. As people need to go up we'll change dive buddy pairing so those who need to go up sooner are with others also needing to go up sooner.

And if someone is really hard on air and REALLY needs the 100 air's I will ask that they be shared if we use them all up so we can maximize EVERYONE's dives. Many like to have them but don't really need them. Some really need them so we try to please everyone! Ok? Great!

Wish I was there...just sent final rooming to resort and diving overview. Need to recap day by day diving but need to hear back on who's doing the night dive etc.


NOTE ON NIGHT DIVE: If you want the special SD rate you have to sign up and pay for it before you leave for Mexico or have it be part of your 7+ day pkg and then its free!

I need to make a revision on afternoon dives - I initially signed up for a full week. It doesn't look like too many people are interested in daily afternoon dives. Does the dive op need a minimum number to run a boat out? Can I trim my order down to 4? Also, no night dives for me.
