Hi again

My salads are getting kinda boring, i would like to add some different types of beans to improve the taste and overall nutrition.

I would prefer not to cook them as i am all about easy of preparation. How about listing the most benificial beans that will go good in a salad.

thx

Andy

Black beans are awesome and they go very well with salad. Want to try and all- bean salad?

Julio's Two-Bean Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette

In a bowl, mix one 14-16 oz. can of Garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained, one 14-16 oz. can of black beans, also rinsed and drained, 2/3 cup chopped red onion, 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, 2 tbs of olive oil, 2 tbs of Balsamic vinegar, 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped, salt and pepper to taste.

Serves four. Can be served on the side or as an entree.

This salad is so freeking good!! If my mom finds out I gave it to you I am dead!

Julio

um, julio....
beans can cause really bad gas.

really bad gas is a negative thing.

this should therefore be posted in "news", as we would not want to upset our more delicate members.
