Yet another member has been hit by the tragic loss of a parent. In July Butch's dad died causing him to miss a dive trip with us which Butch gladly would have given up over and over if only his dad had survived. And while he took some consolation in being able to spend time with him in the end and somewhat brace himself for the inevitable, the loss is no less crushing no matter how much we think we can prepare for it. You just can't prepare adequately for that 'final' goodbye.
Please join me in your prayers, thoughts and condolences for yet another one of our own who has experienced one of the greatest losses one can experience.
Butch we are here for you and care for you very much. Let us know if we can help in any way and I am sorry I was not able to post this sooner. Each time a member close to me loses a parent its as if I lost my own.
I hope that now a few weeks have passed that you are stronger...hugs and even more prayers as you battle each day..some easier than others in this difficult coming year.
