Those lucky members on the upcoming T&C trip have certainly been talking about Earl...but fortunately it seems it will not hurt our trip.

Yes indeed, we've been following Earl, Fiona, and now Gaston, but mainly for how they might affect our T&C trip.
Peter is right, we have LOTS of members on the east coast who will be affected by Earl. I hope you have plenty of supplies at home, so you can just snuggle down and ride the storm out.....and you come out safe & whole after he passes your area!!

No worries. I have new copies of Left4Dead2 and Mass Effect 2 and about thirty hours of movies and TV shows on the DVR. Oh and a portable generator to power all my electronic goodies, TV and my AC, just in case.

Glad you mentioned the generator! It helps keep your 'fridge cold, too....
