Simon, hope you've battened down your hatches! Igor is only a Cat 1 storm, but it's huge & projected to be over Bermuda for 12 hours.

Well, the sky is sunny and there is a pleasant breeze. You would not think a L3 Hurricane just rolled through here over the last 24h. Lots of branches on the roads and coconuts down in my yard but all is well. Have not heard of any casualties and I think everyone is OK.
Power went out at 2PM yesterday and is still out at home. I walked into work to assess damage (none at all) and we never lost power here so as good as can be expected.
The eye passed us just after 11 and I was able to go swimming in the pool with brilliant stars above. Dead calm and cooled me off nicely for the rest of the evening.
Igor is now part of history. Now back to work.
