Our new community has a greatly expanded capacity to notify you of updates on the site.

Please take a look at the Notification Options in your profile to select how (or if) you wished to be notified for the events listed. You can select any blank checkbox or deselect checked box to enable or disable a notification type. You can deselect every option it you wish.

Some modes of notification are currently disabled to reduce traffic on the site.

Take note: even if you select an option, you will not get any notification unless that event occurs:

For example, say you select the checkbox 'Email' for 'Notification method to use for topic replies and reply digests'. If you are not 'Watching' or subscribed to any topics, you will never receive an email alerting you to an updated topic.

If you need help turning notifications on or off please just ask us and we'll be happy to help or fix them to suit your needs.

Just got the following from Sparky103...

I seem to not be getting any notifications. After the web site was "fixed" I checked the threads that I was subscribed to and it said that I was still to be notified. Just checked tonite @ Cozy thread and I haven't gotten notices since before Oct. Not going to junk either.
Any ideas? Jeff

jeff has this notification set to inline. His saying that it is not going to junk implies that he is expecting email but that is not what his settings are for. The notifications are in the upper right hand corner in the dropdown that has nothing but a number next to it. Not obvious.

If he wants email, he can change the first notification in the list in his notification options to email. In my profile that label ends with "and topic digests." I'm not sure why it doesn't say that for premier members, but that should be the option.
