If you fly via AA or other US Carrier you will get 2 bags totaling 70# total. Not sure how I'll ever make it but we will try.
I'm sure some of our Dominica repeats will tell us all the luggage scoop!

I think the challenge is finding that flight that allows you to use a US carrier that will get there in less than 36 hours each way.
George, if you find good flights coming from your area, please let me know, because I'm puzzeled on how to make it work.

Sorry the dates slipped Heidi...we had planned more June-ish but those dates got convoluted so seized the Memorial Day weekend dates.
Travel from Denver is tough anyways. The choices are to overnight in San Juan each way or take a Red Eye to Charlotte or Atlanta, followed by a flight down and using one of the local airlines to get to the island from St. Martin.
But will keep looking..
George, you can also overnight in Miami. I know it is still an overnight but in my opinion favorable to doing an over night in San Juan. I will most likely fly to Mia on Tues and then on to DOM on Wed. I will still have to change plans in SJ but it is much shorter connection.
