In Baytowm Methodiist , Got a new hip Monday may go home tomorrow. Only fair to party Sonny the past few days.. and will not be dancing for my birthday,

Thanks for the well wishes!!! I'm getting there, but going to take a while. I cruise around the house with the help of my walker. Make trips to the end of the drive and back for fun, YEAH and to get out of the house. I had to have 24 hrs help for a little over one week, but mostly taking care of my self now, with help on House cleaning, laundry. I got to take a REAL Shower today, first in over 2 weeks. and put on a pair of jeans, First in two weeks also. and it was a work out, and challenge! My Daughter and Granddaughter took me to go out to diner tonight. I did get to go my shops Christmas party last Thursday. for a short time. Doing P.T> by my self, at home to keep from having to drive 50 to go, the Auto trips are no fun getting loaded, up and getting my leg and hip in one piece. No driving for 6 weeks also,
Strange when you can move your leg for now 56 years and after surgery it does not move any more, and working on that daily. Hope to be back at work with in 6 weeks for light duty, going to try and go in a little a couple times a weeks , just to answer questions, and return calls. I'm able to do some of my shops work at home on the laptop and they email and calling me. So Guess I'm not going to get to dance for New Years, but look out next year at Halloween in Cozumel, You girls please bring you dance card and dancing shoes. Thanks for your prayers , i can use them everyday. esp. since I quit smoking the day i went into the hospital , but have not smoked and do not want to ever again. Sonny
