Please keep Lynn aka Lynnachan in your thoughts and prayers! Her mother is dying and her brother is quite ill. She will be with her family this week and has had to cancel the Saba/St Kitts trip this Saturday. :tears:

In speaking to her the past few days she told me...

I'd ask that people pray that my mom find peace. I'm not traditionally religious but believe in prayer in any manner people want to interpret that.

So I am not only praying that her mother find peace but that her brother be healed and she find the strength and peace to deal with the upcoming days and weeks ahead.

Lynn I hope your last few hours with your mom are precious! kamala

My mom is hanging in there, at this point they're just trying to keep her comfortable. I'm truly blessed by all the support, thank you.

You and your family are in my prayers. Having lost my Mom just a couple of weeks ago, I can empathize.

You mentioned that you're not particularly religious. How about your mother? If she is practicing a particular faith, you might want to arrange for a member of the clergy to visit her.

Mom passed peacefully tonight. Thanks so much for the support.

Rick - I'm not traditionally religious. I know not everyone is comfortable with 'prayer' and I believe when offering support, people should do it in a manner they're comfortable with. What I'd request on a website is a far cry from what I'd provide for my mother. Rest assured she had plenty of support in a manner that best suited her beliefs. Thanks.

Lynn...the support from this group is amazing! That is why I always ask if I can share with them and ask for that amazing support!

I am so thrilled you were able to be with your mom without having to worry about everything else going on. For a short while I'm sure time stood still and those moments and hours and days will be with you for the rest of your life.

Lots of  and :hugs: from SC coming to ya! And I'm keeping you and your brother in my prayers. -ww

Lynn, losing a parent is very difficult, being able to be there with your mom is very special indeed. Continuing to send thoughts and prayers for your brothers recovery as well.
