I have posted a few links to online anti-virus scanners in the past, but I found this recently and it is a good reference for them.

These are good to have as some new viruses and spyware disable the anti-virus protection on your PC so they look like they are working, but are not. Good second check to run every now and then. Oh and they are free too, so that is hard to beat.
Many of them work with Firefox as well. I am really tired of MS telling me to use IE when I am trying to fix an 'IE will not boot' issue.
Remember, email is an inefficient communications forum. You may not read things the way it was intended. Give people the benefit of the doubt before firing back... Especially if it is ME...!
