Whether you got to enjoy a day off today or you had be head to the office, we hope you remembered the real meaning of Memorial Day.
For their numerous and frequent sacrifices on behalf of the United States of America, our military veterans deserve to be thanked. On a day dedicated to remembering those veterans of wars from around the world, it is appropriate to do so in your own homes, offices and in the cemeteries that exist as a testament to those sacrifices.
Take a moment today to talk to those veterans you know and remember those who are no longer with us. Consider donating to some of the great charities and services which help veterans cope with those injuries both physical and psychological that result from the battles they fight, and in some cases, fight long after they arrive back on American soil.
On behalf of everyone at SingleDivers.com, we would like to thank our soldiers, sailors, pilots, engineers and the thousands of others who serve.
Happy Memorial Day...

I shot some video of my town's Memorial Day service on the common and at cemetary. Dad, a WWII vet, N. Africa & Pacific, participated in reading names of town's Civil War dead and the President's Proclamation. The local VFW and civic groups are sponsering the Vietnam Memorial Moving Wall which will be on display in Natick, MA., June 9-12, open 24hrs, if anybody's in the area. And later in day, I helped Dad in keeping the economy running by purchasing a new auto. A full day!!
