I got the airport code,(thanks fingrabber) and checked the price of flights from my nearest airport (abq)......$$$2216 round trip

At that price I feel that I cannot do this trip, please remove my name from the interested list

I saw flights for around $1200 from ABQ

Also flights are VERY expensive right now. They tend to come down around the holidays when they are fighting for your dollars!

Leave your name on the list... then decide later if you can or can not do the trip. Its not even open yet for booking. Also Dominica has added some more flights so I'm surprised they are so high right now. Kamala

Yeah, I checked it as well, right now in AA its running $1233 RT. Remember you have a layover to do this trip. That's the real downside is the red eye on the way out and the overnight layover in San Juan or Miami on the way back. So you need to check flights as 5/25-6/2, getting home on the 3rd.

I guess you guys have better contacts than I do for flight info, I checked several options and the cheapest fare i could find was the $2200 range I quoted in my post.

I looked at AA.com and at Travelocity.com; there were some of the online travel agencies that did not handle AA fares but I don't know if that's true or not anymore. Anyway, the only other way to get to Dominica, other than AA, is on Liat thru Antigua

try travelocity. dfw-sju may 24, $475, sju -dom $498. or iah - sju $466. albuquerque-iah $292 or alb- dfw $279-$318
