LOCAL ASSISTANCE HELP:

If anyone is coming to the show on Saturday could they do me a huge favor? Home Depot (probably Lowes as well) sells these black cushioned mats that have holes in them and interconnect. They are about $23 each and are no skid floor mats. They are in the flooring section but are primarily for workshops. In any event they interlock together but we can make 2 work in the booth. Its the difference between tradeshow sanity and well living tradeshow hell!

If you'll pick 2 up for me I'll be very happy to pay you for them. Ideally if it could be someone helping on Sat we'll be able to benefit the entire show but I'll take them for any day. Just let us know if you can help so we don't have more than one person trying to get them.

So if one of our members would be so kind as to pick up 2 of them we'll be able to share them and it will make a huge difference working the show standing on concrete. :thankyou:

I'll be at the show Sat and Sun and maybe helping on Friday to setup. I'd be happy to grab a couple mats as described for you.
I can run you down Friday or 10am Sat morning at your booth.

Jay

edit: Mats purchsed and good to go

Got the following email from Jay:

Kamala,

I saw your post on the board regarding the Expo in Tacoma this weekend. Since I'm one of the "locals" around here, I picked up 2 rubber mats (at home Depot) that snap together as you'd requested. Large rubber ones with 3/4" holes like you'd find in a dishwashing station at a restaurant.
I can meet you Friday during setup if you need help or Sat morning at 10am sharp when the doors open.

Call me or email me,

Jay

AWESOME!!! Jay your ROCK!!! :cheerleader: This is exactly what we needed to save our feet and legs for the show! If you are there Friday that is perfect but so is early on Sat. The show opens at 9am for vendors so we can get in early and beat the crowds. Just tell us what is easier for you! :wakawaka:

Just sending a big Hello from Tacoma... dive show stuff begins today with exhibitor load-in and such. Tomorrow, show opens for the public, with two days of what looks like some very interesting programming and, of course exhibitors!

Volunteers... looking forward to seeing you, and sending a big :thankyou:in advance.

It's a rainy day here in Washington state.... just right for a dive show! It's beautiful here, and hilly. Can you tell I now live in Florida??

See you soon!!
