Meadowlands Exposition Center, Secaucus New Jersey, Friday-Sunday, March 23-25, 2012


Hey Gang...we'll be at BTS again in March 2012 so come and join us at the country's LARGEST SCUBA SHOW!!! It's so good it's worth flying in for! And of course if you do you can get FREE ENTRY into the show for 3 hrs of help either at the show or at the SD Booth! We need your help to be at this show as we could not afford to do it without giving volunteer help to the show in exchange for a cheaper rate! So plan to be there and plan to help where you can!



Those Able to Help With the SD Booth and/or Show:

1. Kamala aka WreckWench (can help all 3 days...Fri, Sat & Sun all day long)
2. Dave aka Dave L (Fri, Sat, and Sun .... will work wherever needed!)

4. Rick aka HipShot (Rick will donate hours he earns working directly through BTS -- yeah!!)

I'll do it again, like I did last year, when I worked directly through BTS and signed the hours over to you. I know that the Room Chairperson Coordinator liked how I did last year (Among other things, I was given a room assignment with 2 Cousteau presentations, with about 10 minutes advance notice) and wants me there next year. I didn't get to spend as much time with your folks as I'd liked, but I was getting us hours, and I know that's important.

p.s. For those who are new we have to give 60+ hours over the course of the weekend so having someone help all 3 days is invaluable!!!

The ONLY downside was we did not get to see you lot...but your hours helped us out TREMENDOUSLY!!! We really needed them to meet our goal of 60+ hours!

As Heidi mentioned please let us know when you think you can help so we can better plan our staffing needs!

I just made my flight and hotel arrangements; I'll be coming in Friday at 210pm and will need a ride from Newark to the show; I'm leaving Sunday night at 740pm and will need a ride back to Newark. I'll be available all weekend though there may be a seminar or 2 that I'll want to attend. They haven't put out the weekend schedule yet but I'll let you know as soon as I can what my plans are.

I haven't been to BTS in a few years now so this will be fun!

Hey Kimmie it will be great to have you join us again! And while its been a long time...its like it was only yesterday that you were helping us make a name for ourselves at BTS. (See we help the show as volunteers in exchg for a reduced booth rate)


Of interest this year is a new schedule for the show. Seems vendor check int will start THURSDAY this year and run thru Friday noon-ish so they can do a vendor show from 1-6pm and then open to consumers at 6pm as usual.

So we'll need LOTS of volunteers!
