HI I am planning a trip to belize and guatamala for the fall ,possibly mid october.I am looking at 3 or 4 wks. loosly organized , my time is some what flexible. I plan to visit some mayan sites in both countries and visit / dive both palencia and san pedro. i have never been to either country so I am not sure about travel while in-country . my plan is to use local transportation ie.bus and hostel type lodgings as much as possible. if any one will be in the area and would like to kick around a bit let me know. would love a dive buddy for the san pedro portion of the trip

On our first trip to Belize we did a lot of sightseeing in Belize and Guatemala and it was BEAUTIFUL and pretty safe. You blend in very well so as usual you should not have any problems.

As for diving...if you are going to Ambergis Caye let me know. Not only do we have a member who lives on Ambergris but we have several of the best operators as well on the island so we can help with the diving.


p.s. If you are in the US I should send you some SingleDivers.com stickers...I think you said in Dominica that you'd put some up for us when you traveled if I got them to you...or was that just he *hoping* you would say that??? LOL!
