I suspect because the artifacts were landed in the US after being recovered. Titanic was registered in Liverpool, UK and went down off the coast of Canada (Newfoundland to be specific) and well outside Canadian territorial waters.I guess thats good for the salvage co & for the public to view? Pardon me but,I have a question..How does a US Judge make a ruling on something that sank miles away from a US coast? Is it because it was a US ship? Then,Location has no jurisdication ?
