I was thinking of trying to get everyone together for a happy hour here in the Northen Cal Bay Area. Anyone interested. I was thinking 10/15 or 10/22. Also there is a monthly dive in a quary near Pleasanton on the 3rd Thursday of every month so we could always crash that party.

Let me know what you guys think (that is if there are any other Northern Cal Members )

I'm not a NoCal member, but I'm going to be in the Bay area for a business trip the week of Oct 25-29. If the happy hour gets pushed back to tues, wed, or thurs of that week, I'm in. If not, I'll be coming back out there in Nov., so maybe I'll catch up with y'all then.

Hey that would be cool...if you can sponsor the HH around a member's visit! Also if you push it out you can have time to run something in the singles section of your local paper and attract some new folks that way in addition to our existing members! (I'll pm you the verbiage we've used already!)

I do like the idea of joining forces with another dive in the area! That's cool too!

Lets go with 10/28. I'll post something on craigslist. I was going to try to find someplace in the east bay as that would be closer for everybody. Any suggestions for places/locations?

Good question. I have never done it either. I was mostly just throwing it out there. So it sounds to me like doing in the south bay is a better location for everyone (ok except maybe me, but that's not an issue).

There are a bunch of resturants at the I 880/237 intersection. I was thinking "On the Border" on 10/22.

That work for everyone?
