So when you are shopping for friends and family who live out of town...do you have gifts sent to you and you wrap and re-ship them or do you have them drop shipped directly to the recipient?
If you drop ship do you have the supplier wrap the gift or do you just send it as is?
So what is your shipping strategy for the holidays???

Back when I had living relatives, I tended to do a bit of both depending on time constraints.
If I were in that same position today, I would drop-ship, probably plain vanilla/no wrapping, and just inform the recipient to watch for the package. I also would use anything other than the USPS (sorry Dad!) so that I could accurately track the package to the destination.
If anyone wants to feel sorry for me because I'm alone now for the holidays, you can still get in on my wish list as described in this thread HERE.
Boxes of one dollar Presidential coins for Sparky are also acceptable via either drop-ship or personal shipment.
