Hi Feedback people,

When the board was in it's infancy (last week), I could get the messageboard as a separate pop-up from the website but I'm not sure if I did that from the "let's chat" part or from selecting "SD.com Forum" from the dropdown menu. Now, I can only get it as part of the website which limits the amount of the messageboard I can see at once as well as forcing me to login again if I happen to want to check out a different part of the website.
Is there any chance, some time down the road, that the messageboard will be a separate pop-up again?

We can change it back to a separate pop-up if others feel as you do. We may leave it as "Lets Chat" being the separte pop up and the drop down menu "Forum" being part of the message board...or vice versa but I think we can offer it both ways. Thanks for the feedback. ww

:D Consider it done. We will go with the 'Lets Chat' for the 'Pop-Up' and the 'More Selections' for the internal board. Does that sound good to all?

I'd like to see the web site open up alittle. like the Navigation bars on the left be placed across the top and maybe use a smaller font size to allow them all to fit up there. this way the message board would be wider and you could see everything with out using the slide bar at the bottom so much. in no way is this a complaint just a suggestion. I'm really enjoying my stay here at SD.com

Mike,

If you'll click on "Let's Chat" on the left, it should open a new window for you. If you go through the drop down menu, you should get the chat board in the smaller frame.

O I see. I thought the chat thing would take me to a chat room like on yahoo and msn. I dont type fast enough to chat really LoL I guess I should look around alittle more before posting questions. so the Lets Chat link is more than I was asking for! Thanks Walter

I wonder if others are confused as well about 'Let's Chat' being the chatboard vs a chat room? ww

"Confused"? I'd be confused if I knew more about it ... as is I'm completely unaware. Am I just a troglodyte here?

Hey jextract,

What they are talking about is the link that we have off the main website: SingleDivers.com, but we have changed the verbiage from "Let's Chat" to "Dive In".

There are two ways to get to it. The one on the left, as a menu item, opens the board, "Surface Interval" in its own window (NEW), whereas the link from the "More Selections" (bottom left hand corner) opens the board in the website content area.

DL & B2B,

Are you two happy with the way everything is working now? I am going through all of the lists and making sure that I haven't forgotten anything.

I have merged another topic with this one as it was regarding the same issues.

This issue has been: [RESOLVED]
