Who's that guy trying to kid. UPD probably took him way down current and battery died or he was so far out from anchor line that he missed it trying to get back. And if he ditched the expensive toy UPD he may have made the shore of 2nd island.

"out collecting fish"..... that's one reason I don't bother diving in Hawaii anymore. The aquarium fish collectors have raided the Hawaiian oceans so much there are very few left for divers to see!
