In case you have not heard of this (and most folks have not) CISPA is a bill that can compel a private company like Google, Facebook and yes even SingleDivers to turn over personal information, emails and other information to several US Government agencies. That is, they will not need a warrant, they will take ALL info for their databases.
It has been opined that this will legalize an NSA program that has been in effect for several years.
CISPA
Facebook and Microsoft are supporting the bill. I am suspecting that as MS is supporting this, then their OS will also deliver your personal docs and info off your PC automatically in the near future, if it is not doing so already.

Remember, email is an inefficient communications forum. You may not read things the way it was intended. Give people the benefit of the doubt before firing back... Especially if it is ME...!

surprise, surprise, surprise... here is the text of HR 3523... read it for yourself. I see no privacy issues here and hope it passes. The internet today is way too open and we will find that out dramatically one day without bills like this. The next 9/11 can be accomplished with a laptop right now.

CISPA is SOPA by another name, same bad idea and invasion of privacy. Plus it is a extremely vague in certain respects "cyber security" "national security" with no definition or scope. Additionally gives turncoats/snitches along with certain entities exemptions for being sued for violating people privacy and property.
Sorry Scott but those that give up liberty for temporary safety deserve neither and get none! Plus 4th amendment trumps that.
This is a very bad slippy slope to turning the US into... Comrade this amerika ... your papers please!
