Things are getting interesting now; around 4AM local time an email came with the release and Q&A paperwork for The French Job as part of the final selection process for the video blogger position.

That paperwork has now been filed with the judges via email, and now I wait for either a follow-up phone call for additional information, or their final decision as to choice between the ten finalists for video blogger Wednesday.

Stay tuned!

Final decision has been rendered; they went with someone else.

Thanks everyone for your support, I really appreciated it.

The voting was what would get you in the running for consideration for the job; other factors came into play once you made the top ten pool.

It's all good when you think about it. More than 350 applications were received, and the site alone reached more than 7 million unique hits. I was number 7 in the top ten when the voting phase was completed. No complaints.

Congrats on such a high placing. That alone indicates a high level of respect amongst the voters and that is large portion of all that matters.

Placed 7 out of 350. That is pretty good in my book.
