Turks & Caicos Explorer II is back on charter in Provo after several charter weeks in the Bahamas, a week in drydock in Freeport, and 3 weeks in Key West. Aside from the basic bottom job, running gear repairs and alignment, and really fun stuff like squeaky clean fuel, grey- and blackwater tanks, she now sports 10 new windows, new carpet and blinds throughout, new wallpaper in many rooms and the salon, a new icemaker and 2 new refrigerators, 2 completely rebuilt tenders, new chain and anchors, lots of welding, new exterior lighting, and many other things too numerous to list! The boat left Key West on schedule (we won't talk about the budget!) the day before Christmas, and arrived in Provo early Thursday morning.

I want to thank our amazing staff and crew for a job well done - purchasing manager Eric Snyder, who managed the impossible making sure that all supplies and contractors were organized and dealt with, Capt. Ken Kimmey who organized pulled both the drydock and wetdock together and got everything on the list done on time, our great engineer Mark Bailey and purser Polly Cox, and Martin, Casey, and the many others who worked hard to complete the job and get the boat back to Provo on time. Plan is to be on this trip. I really need to see how things play out for the Galapagos before I can commit 100%. Luckily, Bonaire is already paid for. T&C should be doable. Just need to figure out how to handle the costs of 12/14.

Come to think of it, I've been feeling that familiar itch that comes along when you haven't gotten inked in a while. Who knows?! I may just surprise you!!!

No worries...we have a special program for frequent divers who book multiple trips so we'll work the numbers out...NOT A PROBLEM!!! Kamala
