I'll start...

1. This one is a perennial favorite but last year I did lose weight and improve my level of fitness and this year I want to reach my ultimate goal! So I'm participating in our 2013 Health and Fitness Challenge HERE to be more successful.

2. Time to get rid of STUFF! I plan to spend 15 mins a day cleaning out stuff at least 4x a week.

3. Work on a number of endeavors to make SingleDivers.com easier to use and more efficient!

4. Get pics from all trips posted during and after a trip and catchup on all postings from 2012 trips.

5. Get the group trips posted sooner and offer more 'member run trip options'.

My Favorite Tip:

Be specific in your goal. Instead of saying you will exercise more say you will exercise 15 mins a day 4x a week. Who can't do that right? Making the goal reasonable means you are more likely to do it and exceed it.

OK, Here is my 2013 Resolution, which if met will be the first resolution ever met:

Make a minimum of 20 Dives. Which to most probably doesn't sound like much, but with work and the economy I'm setting a realistic goal that is over-achievable. How am I going to do this -

a. National Aquarium in Baltimore Dive...this was gonna be my first of 2013 but I'm actually doing it today...can I still apply it to next year?

b. Though I am PADI O/W certified, I'm gonna take the SSI U-Boat specialty course which includes their Deep and Wreck certifications. Training dives plus actually diving a U-Boat off NC equals 6 dives. You figure going all the way down to NC you're not just gonna dive once. So I'll tack on a conservative 3 more dives which takes me to 9...11 to go.

c. This summer either FL or the Bahamas. That'll be a minimum of 4 (probably more) so I'm up to 13.

d. The Advanced O/W course with Atlantic Edge (Annapolis store) which will give me my 18 I resolve to make.

e. I also want to totally complete either the U/W Navigator or Peak Bouyancy certs as I figure those are two of the most important and either one or both will take me over my resolved 20.

e. I'm going for that number because it'll put me over half way to being eligible for going for Divemaster. I want it, but not in a rush to get there. I want experience not just c-cards when I earn it.

f. I'll also be taking the EFR course this coming year as well as making any other dives that come my way.
