Hey gang...I am in NY/NJ and will be doing vendor check in today and tomorrow at the convention center along with Sylvia aka Cat fish and Dave aka DaveL to rack up some of the 'many' hours we need to have our awesome booth location AND have a reduced rate booth cost for the show. (In other words...we could not do this without your help and the hours we will accumulate today and tomorrow helping with vendor check in.)

I won't have much internet while I'm working the show but you can reach me via my cel 864-557-6079 if you need me immediately. My ability to answer real time may also be limited but I'll call you back or text as soon as I can.

Thanks to Suzi aka CoralReefer we have spent time with some of our current members and some possible "NEW" members in several NY cities the past couple of days for dinner and a few drinks. Suzi is a great hostess as is John aka OMSJohn who hosted us Tuesday.

We've had the Cuban Redneck and OTWDiver join us as well. We'll see you at the show....

Hello Everyone!! First, my apologies for posting to this thread since BTS ended. I returned home Sun nite to a house full of visiting family, some who arrived while I was in Secaucus. So the partyin' and imbibing continued here and I am just getting caught up. Now.... back to YOU!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH, old Friends and new Friends, for the hard work you supplied, the laughs and the rapport. It was just wonderful to spend time with you. I know that Kamala appreciates the help she gets so she can get her booth in a favorable location and for an affordable price but we all know that is not the real gain: what is most important is that BTS provides a special time for us to be together and have a chance to catch up with each other's lives. I am grateful to know each and every one of you!

Speaking of grateful.... DAVE aka Dave L: wow, thank you for being our workhorse leader, cabbie, roomie, and all-around fun guy. The BTS people are nuts about Dave, and it's not surprising. Dave hit the ground runnin' on Wed pm and never stopped till he took me to the airport on Sunday.

Maria aka SirenaCansone logged a ton of hours, too. Yeah, Maria! Dave, Maria, me, along with Dorothy aka Underewaterpiclady and Heather aka seesear did setup together for Fish 'n Famous. We made those tired-looking decorations really hum (I'll have to share the email we received from the BTS folk about our assignment). We can all leave our day jobs and hire out as decorators!

Yeah to Mike aka tankboy26, who lugs big stuff in for Kamala as well as works the booth. Suzanne aka CoralReefer helped in the booth, provided transport of the wench to the show early Thursday made TONS of copies of show materials for the booth. And because of Stan aka scubaski, we had a terrific slide show to jazz up the booth.

Well, before I get too long-winded, I'm going to move right to the Eye Candy : Carol aka galngotham brought her beautiful self, along with Providencia aka Turquoise Waters aka Provi, of course Coral Reefer who even dressed up for Friday night along with Tankboy26. And of course we had help from Barb aka 1scubadiver and Susie aka Susiq in the booth as well.

Oh-oh... the gang is at the door and I have to leave. I'll be back in a wee bit to tell ya about The Guys!!

Thank you Sylvia...your show report is 'spot on'! I'll allow you the honors of finishing what you started but allow me to express my sentiments 1000%....

BTS is a great opportunity to renew old friendships...make new ones and enjoy another aspect of something we all love... DIVING!!!

The team this year was the best yet! TEAM SINGLEDIVERS.COM rec'd many alcolades from the BTS Staff as well as others and truly they helped to make this show a tremendous success for SD.com the business side of things. (Yes its important that we find new members from this show to join our great trips or even just book travel thru us so help at the show and IN OUR BOOTH makes that all possible!)

So all and for those who went the extra mile...and you know who you are...you have my deepest thanks and appreciation! Its been a tough road this past year and thanks to those 'extra special members' who gave and gave and gave some more...I feel as if we'll have a great year thanks to your extra efforts!

She did an amazing job organizing our volunteers, meeting our show commitments, keeping it fun for everyone and well helping me to keep my wits, sanity and just about everything else that makes this show a success.

It is always a high spot on my calender when the BTS show is on. Hooking up with old friends and meeting new ones. Two quick notes:

First there were several thefts at this year's show. Several sola lights were stolen. Keep an eye out for them on eBay they are without chargers keep an eye on craigslist also.

Second, I won a hog regulator from dive gear Express. A first stage two seconds hoses, yoke adapter, necklace. All I have to add is the spg.

How cool is that!

But the best part is hanging with the sd peeps, see you on a dive trip soon

It goes without saying BTS is the best on the east coast.But the the part that makes it #1 for me is the chance to see old friends and meet new buddies.Always a challenge to make new sweets for the sweet.Hope to see everyone soon on a trip.Tanks mike

I am working on the address as we speak. Step one was to confirm if it went to Texas or to Seattle where the next show is. It will be to Seattle so I'll get the address and let you know in a couple of days. Still trying to get my head above water. kamala

Key Lime cupcakes are devine...and the b-day cake for our very own Ms~T was just as delicious!!! I gained 1.5 pounds back after BTS and while I'm not saying your scrumptious goodies were to blame...they sure did not make it any easier to keep the weight off. Neither did all the chocolate at the booth used to stay awake and alert! LOL!

Yes it was a great time... just wish I didn't have to work so hard and could focus more on enjoying it!

Hey.... it's me again. I've got all the visiting family members doing this or that, so it's time to catch up again. I definitely want to add a really big to some more old and new dive friends who joined us at BTS. It wouldn't be a dive show without Jerry aka Jerrymxz, who even dealt with and almost-car-accident to get there. Way to go, Jer, for winning the reg. We know you'll find use for that. Also, thanks to one of our behind-the-scenes guys... Rick aka Hipshot. We added your work hours to our pile, and it helped a lot. Tanks, Rick!!

Jose aka jesterdiver, Tomas aka Tbone, and Victor, Morgan and Dirk: you were great additions to our team! Victor could sell anything to anybody... I'm very sure of that, and Jose and Tomas got into the spirit of it pretty darn quick. Morgan enhanced happy hour with additional refreshment in that all-too-familiar purple bag. Bless you, brother... I'm just a sucker for anything from Canada!

One good friend was not able to join us -- Jeff aka sparky103. Sparkmeister... you were missed!!!!!

I picked up a couple of DVDs at the show from dive destinations in Dominica and one from Beqa resort in Fiji. I sitting at home watching them this morning! WW met a guy from Dominica that came to the HH Saturday evening and I stopped by their booth Sunday to get some more information. It looks like wall diving and the real chance ofseeing sperm whales a short ride out to sea from the dive sites. I Definitely need to do some looking into this destination
