Hmm. It has to be some local setting that is causing this.
I have Mozilla Firefox both at home, and at work.
When I access the site at work (during lunch of course
) I am logged right in.
But from home, it makes me click on the Log In button. So I must have something set differently at home that interferes with this.
Speaking of which, I am assuming a cookie is set. Is this correct? I have no cookies listed from 'singledivers', so I may not be saving it at home.

when i get the loggin screen i have noticed a message in top right corner that says resend validation email is this normal or could this have to do with me haveing to log in all the time 
as a matter of fact I am out of my mind. It is dark and scary in there.

Just one more cog to throw in.
If I come in using the URL "singledivers.com" , then I have the login issue where I have to click 'Log me in'.
But, I bookmarked the URL that was displayed after logging in (that has the php?s=xxxxx), and if I use that link, I am logged in directly to the forums with no problems.
So talosdc, try that as a workaround. It may work for you too.

but on the other hand i tried doing what was suggested of making a new bookmark after logged in and it works. but if i go thru the main web address link i still have to manualy log in.

Guys...there are two different ways to access the message board from the main site. One is called the "surface interval" on the tool bar. If you click on that and log in ...you should not have to log in again. The other is under the drop down menus and its called 'Message Board'. If you click on that one you'll need to log in each time due to the interface.

I tried both options. They both ask for the login, Surface Interval does it in a whole new window, and Message Board does it in the current window.
Not a biggie now that I can come straight to the boards using the URL.
