Hm....this sounds like we should try a WPB destination as a possible future SD dive trip to me! What do you all think???Jim Abernathy had 3 boats last year. Two were damaged prior to the hurricanes when a boat lifter from the marina tipped over. As far as I know he still has one boat, Deep Obsession running. I've been out with them many times, but not this year. There is also Diving Solutions. I have only done a TGIF with them which consists of 3 tanks fruit when you come up from the first dive, and lasagna, salad and garlic bread after the second dive and cheesecake after the third. They are done on Friday's only on the weekender boat which goes to the Bahamas.

When I lived in Raleigh it was easy to find divers via Fantasy Lake or the dive clubs who wanted to road trip to Florida. We did it all the time! When BradfordNC gets back later this fall he goes diving ALL the time! He lives in Fayettville and is always looking for divebuddies. And he drives to Florida all the time too! He is one of several dive buddies in the area that love to DIVE! Check with wreck maniac as well. He is ALWAYS diving MHC and the surrounding area as well. You are in divers paradise girl...-wwPerhaps others from NC would be interested in traveling with you. That way you'd have company on the drive, as well as someone to share expenses.

Ahem. Chez Marvel's might be available.... 30 miles south of WPB, however.Yes and a very long dive when driving alone, I know that because I have done it!!! Then there is the hotel expense!! Oh well.

I will check around to see if I can garner some interest, but from the quick search of air fares a car trip is more feasable.

It has to booked as a group, I believe the minimum is 10 and the max 12. The lasagna pan only holds 12 servings and the pan is as large as will fit in the oven. It is a nice boat, with air conditioned salon and a nice head with a shower.Hm....this sounds like we should try a WPB destination as a possible future SD dive trip to me!
