WOW!!! We are coming up on some wonderful milestones! January marks the first singles trip we did that inspired SingleDivers.com...our first anniversay is March of 2005 and this Christmas will be our first Christmas together! :birthday:

To celebrate SD and the Holidays...we are doing a Holiday Christmas Bash at the Wench's home...yep the "ShadPad" will be the site for our first annual SD Christmas Party!

We'll have food, fun and festivities! And oh yes...and plenty of libations and gyrations!

When: December 29th Wednesday

Where: The ShadPad...3957 Gaspar Ste#200; Dallas, TX 75220

Time: 6pm to ??

What: Bring yourself and whatever else you feel inclined to bring! We'll have wine, spiced cider, beer, and some of the hard stuff and TONS of food. Narwhal, Dejah, & FinGrabber will all be helping with the cooking and the fun! So we'd love for you to come and join us!

NOTE: If you are from out of town and want to join us, we should have plenty of places for you to stay so you won't need a hotel. If you can plan some 'bidness' in Dallas during this time...'rock on and get it on'!

Yes its hard to find enough Saturdays in December that weren't already taken by company parties and other plans! The 29th is between Christmas and NYEve...both of which fall on a Saturday this year. -ww

Hey Everybody,

I just wanted to update this after our last discussion and let you know at the Official SD Christmas Party we are thinking about doing a Secret Santa Game or some know this also by a White Elephant game.

The way it works is that you bring a uni-sex gift fully wrapped and we'll choose numbers then the first number goes and chooses a gift and the second person who goes can choose either the first person's or go for another present... however each gift can only go around I think it's 3 times before it stops... should be loads of fun... so hope to see you there!

Let us know if you want to do this and we'll work out all the details!

White Elephant sounds like a great idea. Usually there are rules for the gifts, e.g. under $10, or something already in your home.

When I was a teenager my parents had one of those xmas parties where you brought something from the home. The wife of my dad's best friend brought a tarnished solid brass cowboy hat about 2" tall. Dad's best friend was pissed that his wife had brought it. Dad won it, and I spent about an hour polishing it. Dad proudly displayed it at work where his buddy could see it.
