UPDATE ON THE 3 DAY PKG VIA BEQA LAGOON:

Here are the full details below. In summary:

1. You can do the shark dive with the 3 day pkg as the operator NOW does their own shark dives.
2. We can get the 3rd boat dive in.
3. The pkg includes 2 days of diving so one afternoon for afternoon dive and 1 for the sharkdive.
4. All transfers are included and are much more reasonable via Beqa than other resorts plus you'll be with the main group that is doing the 3, 7 and 11 day pkgs.

Let me know if I missed any of your questions. I am still waiting to hear what nitrox is for the 3 day pkg.

I did this trip last October (the second sailing!) and don't remember the Bligh Waters as anything other than spectacular. There are a few dive sights that have some current but not anything worse than say Cozumel. The guides generally know what sites have current and when the best time of day is to dive them. In other words, the dives don't have so much current that I'd skip the Siren. It is an awesome itinerary and the diving had some of the best vis I've ever seen.

the itinerary they use goes either clockwise or counter-clockwise from Voli Voli so we got to dive the Bligh Waters twice!

Hey girl...I gotta check to see if we have one of the rooms as s/o. I know know I put it down as available...but it seems it is locked into the counts for either the 7 or 11 day pkgs. I have to check this...sorry for any confusion. OTHERWISE the pricing looks correct.

Sad to say that I will need to drop from the 3 day trip at Beqa prior to getting on the Siren.

Fiji Airlines cancelled my flight from LAX to NAN (Fiji) stating that during March of next year they will no longer offer this flight every day. I can't travel a day earlier, so had to accept the reservation one day later. Then there was a scheduling conflict with American from my regional airport..... OK, no worries, as long as I get to dive on the Siren for 10 days I will be sane........

I will arrive in Fiji on the morning of March 9th.

How the Int'l Air Works:

Due to int'l dateline you leave Mar 1 but arrive Mar 3. Then you stay for 7 or 11 days. Or if doing the 3 day buffer pkg you depart Mar 5 and arrive Mar 7 and depart Mar 10 for the siren. When you leave you leave on Mar 14 if doing land only for 11 days and you arrive in US on Mar 14. If you do the 7 day you depart the 10th and arrive US the 10th and if you do the liveaboard you depart the 20th and arrive the 20th to the US.

Elias, I thought I would reply to your post in this public thread. I had the pleasure of diving in Fiji on one trip, though I moved to 3 different islands while there. One location in particular, Namena, was the place that finally made me commit to becoming an instructor. It was that amazing. Ironically, that is our first stop on the liveaboard.
