Ok here is the restriction on Duty Free into Bali. If you are getting a bottle of liqour then one bottle is plenty. However a bottle of wine or beer will not last very long.

 

So if anyone is NOT using their duty free allowance and wouldn't mind bringing a bottle of wine for someone (say the wench) then please let us know in this topic! :

DUTY FREE UPDATE:

 

Customs in Indonesia is strict. Visitors arriving internationally are permitted to carry up to one litre of alcohol (in whatever form: beer, spirits or wine).

 

If they arrive carrying more than this allowance, any surplus (beyond the one litre allowance) will be confiscated.

 

It is not possible to pay import duties to increase your allowance beyond the one litre.

 

So if anyone is NOT purchasing any alcohol please let me know as I will have you carry something extra if you don't mind. I'm sure others would love the same.
