We have a fully automated booking and payment system that is cutting edge technology and fully PCI complaint ensuring your payments are safe and secure and your checking/credit card information can not be compromised. (Actually our processor does the lion's share of that which is why we ensure all information is passed encrypted to the processor and never resides in our system thereby minimizing failure points.)
Because of the add'l security measures, sometimes payments fail and have to be attempted again. We have however found that most payments fail for the following reasons:
Common Reasons Trip Payments Fail:
ALL PAYMENTS:
- Hitting the back button during the payment or order process
- Entering any number incorrectly
NOTE: Some payments may initially go thru and THEN fail after trying to clear the bank because you have entered the routing number correct but the account number turns out to be wrong, or both numbers have been entered correctly but there is an issue with the funds etc.
CHECK PAYMENTS:
- Using a check that is drawn against a credit card vs a checking account
- Using a check that is drawn against "some" credit unions
- Using a check that is drawn against a USD international account
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS:
- Using any other credit card but VISA or MC
