Hello Bonaire Trip Goers!!! Please introduce yourself so we can get to know you better before showing up to dive together! Not that divers really need many introductions but one of the really cool things about our group is we do get to know each other a bit before meeting in person! And its so much fun to say "Oh you are WreckWench or You are Jacks!"
So please take a minute to share a little about yourself!

Hi I'm Kamala aka WreckWench! I found the club by 'founding' the club! 
Ok so I won't quit the day job to become a stand up or sit down comic! 
I've been diving since 1994 and have become addicted to scuba so much so that I quit my day job to become a scuba bum full time. Now I mainline diving as often as I can and love meeting fellow divers who love diving as well! 
Not only am I going on this trip, but I will be your trip leader and personal hostess!

Hello I am Todd (richone). I started diving about 2 years ago and have absolutely loved it. I live in Ohio where unfortunately there isn't very much clear and or warm water around. So it is very exciting to be able to have the chance to go to a place like Bonaire where I have more than 10 feet visibility! I have been to Cozumel with my buddy Scott (scottdiver) and that trip just got me more interested in the underwater world. It was absolutely beautiful! Looking forward to meeting the SD crew and know a fun time is to be had.

I'm glad you asked, thought I was still drunk from the last time. Pheww, I haven't had alcohol since Dominica so I was becoming worried

Hi! I am Beth aka EagleRayLover. Have only been certified for 1 year, but have gone to some amazing places to dive during that time. Have wanted to visit Bonaire since my 30s. About time I got there! I retired in 2015 and started my second childhood. Looking forward to meeting everybody. I'll be out with binoculars checking out the birds during down times

This is reefrover (jennifer) here: I recently retired from a stressful federal job and am now de-stressing big time! Trained as a landscape architect, I mentally rearrange every landscape I view. This is my curse.
I got hooked on diving through a friend who was doing reef research at Akamal, Mexico. Since then have dove in some spectacular places. I love it. But snorkeling can be great too! I don't mind putting my mask into the mangroves along the shallow shoreline to see what's happening there. I once found an octopus living in a discarded toilet at the end of a dock in Belize. Very cool.
Originally a witch from Salem, Mass, I migrated west as an adult. Captivated by the desert southwest, I mostly live in Arizona and enjoy the high energy summer monsoons and fragrant winter rains. I sometimes miss my watery new england heritage, but don't miss the crowds or manic pace at all.
I am looking forward to our Bonaire trip: the diving, snorkeling, meeting new friends, and also some birdwatching, which I hear is pretty good on the island.

We are so glad you found us! Nice intro and YES there are great birds including FLAMINGOS on the island!

I am a new diver....8 dives in my log. Certified to 60 feet. Found SD thru Planet Scuba in Tucson. Can't wait to go to Bonaire. No visa required, correct?

Hi Donna, that is correct, no visa only a valid Passport. Happy to have you aboard!
