Hello Cayman Brac Trip Goers!!! Please introduce yourself so we can get to know you better before showing up to dive together! Not that divers really need many introductions but one of the really cool things about our group is we do get to know each other a bit before meeting in person! And its so much fun to say "Oh you are WreckWench or You are resqdew!"

Hi I'm Kamala aka WreckWench!  I found the club by 'founding' the club! Ok so I won't quit the day job to become a stand up or sit down comic!

 

I've been diving since 1994 and have become addicted to scuba so much so that I quit my day job to become a scuba bum full time.  Now I mainline diving as often as I can and love meeting fellow divers who love diving as well!

 

Not only am I going on this trip, but I will be your trip leader and personal hostess!

Asa a fresh new member we understand our booking and documents process can seem a little complicated but it has evolved over years of lessons learned that make the trip safer and more enjoyable for everyone in the end. However, the very first step is to make you a Premier Member so you will be eligible to log in to the Home Page where the booking takes place. Hi again Peggy, so far you are the only member joining us in Cayman Brac from Florida; however we do have two members including Fearless Leader Kamala aka WreckWench who have booked flights to CYB (Cayman Brac) from FLL (Ft. Lauderdale) as a follow on to our Best of Florida trip in West Palm Beach, so I would expect her to chime in soon!

 

SingleDivers.com offers flight booking assistance in support of all our trips for a modest $31 Fee. If you are interested in taking advantage of this service, simply log in to the Home Page www.singledivers.com and, just as you did to book this trip, navigate the tabs "TRIPS" -> "UPCOMING TRIPS" then click the Cayman Brac link into that Trip Page, click the Book Now button and then scroll down to find the Add On titled "SD Air Booking Fee" (it has the little airliner on the tarmac icon). I am from Phoenix BUT I will be in Florida before I go to the Caymans so I will be traveling from Florida to get there (From Miami). My travel itinerary is below.

 

MIA --> Cayman Brac (CYB)    Airline: Cayman Airways 123

Sat. Sept 2nd

12:30pm - 12:55pm

 

 

I'm guessing there will be others as the Best of Florida trip is the week before. I know Kamala will be traveling from Florida but I don't know her details.

This is my third SD trip and first to Brac (I love love LC) and Matt's third trip to Brac but first trip with SD.  

 

We're also going to be on the 12:30 out of MIA!!!!!  

 

YAY - can't wait for diving, seeing old friends, and meeting new ones!!!

Hi....I'm Dave or Dave L on the forums. I've been diving for a good while. I've been on a number of SD trips and loved all of them. I'm bringing Faith or Dave L + 1 with me. She is my soulmate/roommate/etc. She is a non diver so I'll only be doing the morning dives. I take pictures and recently got a GoPro. I'm sure I will have both cameras along. We are also doing Grand Cayman the week after. We are flying in from Philadelphia. Look forward to seeing and meeting everyone.

Hi all, this is Ellen aka SeaLassie....gosh I got these tickets a year ago and forgot the route to Brac!  I'm coming in a day early...got the red eye Thursday night from Seattle to Miami.  Arrive in Miami at 7:14 AM Friday morning...the flight to Grand Cayman isn't till 12:30.....apparently a Bloody Mary morning!  If anyone else is hanging out in the Miami airport Friday morning and wants to join up...say so! Then a short hop to Brac. Waiting for the extra night in the trip "add ons".

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in Cayman Brac soon!  It should be an epic trip.  I have been on several SD trips before and am looking forward to this being the best one ever!! 

 

I hal from Chicago, am buddyless, easy going and enjoy relaxing tropical diving doing underwater photography and hanging out topside. (especially after a 42 degree wreck dive in Lake Michigan this morning

 

I was at this resort last year, and the diving and crew are great!!   It's going to be a great trip.
