In case your local government skool forgets to mention it, it was on this day back in 1941 that Japan launched its sneak attack on Pearl Harbor, ushering the United States into World War II (that’s a “two,” not an “eleven,” class). The two-hour attack resulted in the sinking of 21 American ships, including the USS Arizona, which alone lost 1,177 crewmen when the ship went down. All told, 2,403 Americans were killed that morning, including 68 civilians.
May they rest in peace. May we never forget their sacrifice.
... a day that will live in infamy...

Thanks for Reminding me, Been so tied up with work, I forgot today was Pearl Harbor Day... Thanks to all those Who were part of WW2, for the freedom we have today. A Salute to those who lost their Life on this day and those who fought for our freedom that we enjoy today. Godspeed be with you and your families, who also suffered those days.>

Excellent post. Thanks for reminding us of those that have and do today serve in our armed forces to protect our freedoms.
To those individuals on sd.com that are currently serving in the military, I'd like to say thank you and happy holidays. May you and yours be safe this holiday season.
