Hello Walt and fellow divers heading to the Philippines in April!

 

I booked my flight with Eva, I found pretty affordable flights from LA (I live in San Diego). I am arriving in Manila on Friday, April 6th, at 11:40 AM. When is everyone else arriving? It would be great to plan it so we can take the shuttle to the boat and split the cost of the transfers...

 

I look forward to meeting everyone, so excited about this trip!

Hi all,

Already booked my flights. I arrive Manila Thursday, Apr 5th 7:55 pm, Delta 181.  And get in about an hour ahead of Kamala.  Spending the night in Manila. (Waiting now to find out which hotel Kamala will recommend.)  Anyway, hope to share shuttle ride with Kamala, Brian and whomever. 

I depart Manila Sunday, Apr 15, 8:10 am, Delta 180. The reason for the next day departure (after our diving) is the Coast Guard will not allow boats to travel at night, so departing the resort on Saturday in daylight wouldn't give me enough time to make the cheaper morning flights out of Manila. So just spending an extra night in the Philippines - maybe do some touring.

Hi everyone, I would love some advice. My return flight to the US is at 6:45 PM from Manila, on Saturday 14th. Do you guys think that's enough time to get back or should I also move my flight to Sunday?

Hi Eleonora,

I think you'll be fine.  Not having done this before, I'm assuming you (and the rest of us) will be leaving the resort in enough time for you to make the afternoon or evening flights that day out of Manila.  In my case, I wouldn't have had enough time to get a morning Delta flight that day.  And it seemed the afternoon Delta fliights were much more expensive, so I opted to depart the following morning.

Hello,

Has anyone made any reservation for their hotel on Friday night (4/6)? Do you have any recommendations? Would be great if we could all stay in the same hotel/area.
