  • How to Book

Q. How do get more info about your organization or help with booking this trip?

A. For more info about our10,000 member dive club on steroids please email info@singledivers.com. For more help on booking please click on the TRIP QUESTIONS TOPIC BUTTON ABOVE as it covers all the basic trip related booking questions or email trips@singledivers.com and we will be happy to assist you. Please give us a little time to respond as every helper is a volunteer so may not be online when you request help.

 

Q. Why can't I seem to be able to book this trip? It won't let me log in and I have tried the recover password several times but it does not help?

A. You must be a premium member aka Premier or above to book our trips. The price is $35 a year of which you can file for a $25 member rebate after every trip you take with us or private travel booking you make. So your membership dues are only $10 after one trip and you are saving even more money with two or more!  SO....please verify your premium membership is current and if you are still having issues please email admin@singledivers.com for add'l help. IF you have JUST paid your dues there may be a lag. If you used PayPal there will be no lag after updating your dues however if you used our payment portal then it may take up to 3 days for your subscription to be verified and an admin notified to upgrade your membership manually so you can sign up. To expedite this process a little please trips@singledivers.com with a copy of your PAYMENT notification for your dues and ask them to upgrade you so you can sign up for a trip.

 

  • What's Included

    Q. What dive equipment is included in this package? I would assume rental equipment would be available for anything not included? And if so is there an option to pay for that in advance?

    A. The pkg price includes air tanks, lead and weight belts if you need them. You need tp supply or rent your personal gear i.e. mask, fins, snorkel (if you use one) and safety equipment i..e bcd, regulator, computer, and optional items such as a wetsuit or dive light* if you plan to do a night dive or just want to video, take pictures, look into nooks and crannies or simple see the TRUE COLOR of the REEF washed in its true brilliant colors!  But you are in luck... our uber cool Corporate Sponsor Big Blue Dive Lights is supplying a variety of dive lights and video lights you can USE FOR FREE to see how amazing they are. AND if you buy a Big Blue light BEFORE the trip you qualify for a FREE NIGHT DIVE OR MORE FREE STUFF!!!  Most people wait to pay for rental gear at the resort for several reasons.... sometimes we get multiple corporate sponsors who will allow you to TRY BEFORE YOU BUY and so you get the use of something like a light or computer FOR FREE!!!   And sometimes other members on the trip are happy to loan extras which save ou money so we typically do not collect rental fees in advance ALTHOUGH WE DO SUPPLY THE RESORT WITH ALL OUR RENTAL NEEDS SO THEY ARE MORE THAN READY but allow them to charge you only what you end up renting during the week. If they offer a 'rental pkg'[ the price is valid at the resort as well as before so its not necessary to pay in advance to save money.

    Q. Can non-divers join this trip?

    A. Yes absolutely! The more the merrier!

     

  • Options & Extras
    Q. How much is nitrox? I can't find it in the cart yet?
    A. We often open a trip without all the extras locked in but will notify everyone when they are available. When a member asks its a great reminder to follow up with our supplier. When we get the info we will post in the TRIP PM, the TRIP FAQ and update this reply and in the TRIP DETAILS to ensure new people see the info when they first book.
     
    Q. For the costume party, is there a theme?  I noticed in the picture, everyone is pirates.
    A Yes we have a theme which will be announced closer to the trip. We need 10 participants due to the size of prizes and usually the contest taps into your inner creativeness. For example we will often choose a letter of the alphabet and you create a costume based upon something that starts with that letter. So when we did "s" we had starwars characters, we had a seashell, we had a 'street person we had a superhero etc.

  • Diving & Itinerary
    Q.  What is the daily schedule for yoga and diving?  What times do they start?  If we do three dives a day, is the 3rd dive after lunch?  Do we come in for lunch and go out again, or is lunch on the boat?
    A. Yoga is in the early am before we start our day. We have a nice place at each resort to do the yogo out of the elements but still so you can see the beach and/or the ocean whenever possible.  After yogo we have breakfast and then head out for the first two dives. We come back for lunch and then head out for the 3rd dive after lunch Sometimes we can do another yoga session and/or wellness session and of course Happy Hour starts around 4 or 5 and then dinner a bit later around 7.

    Q. What is the best way to handle currency there?  Do they take US dollars?  Should I get Honduras $$ ahead of time?  I assume I wouldn't need much since it is all-inclusive, but for shopping and stuff.
    A. They accept US Dollars so no need to chg currency. We usually do a ton of last minute trip updates for everyone regarding all these matters but I am happy to answer some of them early. We will give you ideas about how much cash you will need closer to the trip but basically yes it covers any personal shopping, any meals off the resort (sometimes people like to head out and explore) and you'll need cash for tips. Tips for diving and resort services are not part of the pkg and can not be put on a credit card. However we do have a way for you to obtain add'l cash if you run short and that will be summarized in our Pre Trip Updates that start a couple of weeks before we depart.
