United Airlines has cancelled flights to Bonaire. I got notified that my flight for August 7-12 has been canceled. I had to go American Airlines. If you were flying United for this trip, check your flights.
As Brad said...THANK YOU! I was on United as well and just switched to American too. Glad its only United cancelling and not everyone.

Hi Amy! Please know most members indicate they will participate in a Costume Contest by checking the appropriate box in the General Information Form under MY TRIPS documents. We are just reaching the point where the Trip Coordinators begin collating this information and updating the Add On "Costume Contest" section at the top of this topic, so stay tuned for a definitive list of who is currently interested in participating.
WITH THAT SAID, anyone who decides to participate after submitting their General Info Form OR are uncertain when they completed that form they checked the box signalling interest in participating in the Costume Contest (it is a club tradition and is truly a barrel of fun!), rather than drilling all the way back down to that form to check that box simply post here in this topic to confirm you are interested in the contest. We do actually reads these even though at times my own forgetfulness suggests otherwise 
and will update the list at the top of this topic accordingly. 
For those with a bit of curiosity, here is a photo from a previous Costume Contest (click thumbnail) just to give you an idea of the typical competition...

I just pulled the General Information Form for Bonaire 2020 (now 2021) to double check and it appears everyone who had indicated by check box to be interested in the Costume Contest were already listed in the top post of this topic thread.
There is still time to sign up as this trip's Costume Theme has yet to be debated and voted on (The Wench 
herself moderates this) so rally 'round the contest flag!! Remember all that is needed is to post in this topic you would like to participate and we will add you to the list!

This trip is going to be great. I love everything about Bonaire. Hotel looks great. Looks and sounds like a fun group. I'm new with you guys and enjoy meeting new divers and exchanging stories and shots and shots!! Want to try Little Havana bar. Was never there....can't believe it. Live music n drinks......party time people!! BTW...... Lets not forget about going to GIO'S ice cream shop. The BEST!!

Where is the Little Havana bar? Sounds great to me! GIO's is great... getting a craving for ice cream just thinking about it!
And you are right...the hotel is wonderful and the diving is great and THIS group will be even better!

Just booked the trip and paid in full including night dive. Did not add Nitrox. I was on the 2017 trip (my first SD trip!), so Nitrox should be free. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Looking at the #1 Trip details under "package includes" this is what to do to get the free nitrox:
FREE Nitrox for any SingleDivers.com & Divi returning guest (yes we've been diving with "Divi" for over 13 years so anyone from a previous SD.com trip @ Divi gets FREE Nitrox. Simply pay for it and email trips@singledivers.com with FREE Bonaire Nitrox in the title and we'll refund it to you upon verification of your previous trip.
