After looking at all of the arrangements I'd need to make, i'm going to pass on this one. A local dive buddy (now an SD member!) is arranging for us to do a Clearwater dive instead - for the same weekend. I'll post that info as soon as I have it. Have fun, ya'all.

hey stu, are you guys definitely going to use blue water divers ?The best idea would probably be to give Blue Water Divers a call and talk to Brent.
I'm not certain of my work schedule for that saturday but if i can get
the weekend off i wouldn't mind doin some divin down there. I worked
out some kinks this week at parrot island in pompano, the full 3 ml
was not quite enough so i'm thinking of doubling up my 3 shortie and my 3 full,
beats buyin a 5ml i think ? if your doin blue water divers i'll just call and
get a spot on the boat...

Sunday is Blue Water Divers, Saturday is Divers City
I was down in Marathon this weekend - water was 72-75 I think - I was fine in a 3mm (but then again I don't really feel the cold), others had on a lot more (one had a skin, 3mm and hooded vest and got cold on one of the dives)
Hope you can join us

Stu,
I just saw RT airline tickets to Miami for $99.00. Too bad I have to be in Indianapolis Monday morning. Maybe next time.

Wow - this sounds like an interesting trip. I might be interested in the Sunday trip - come down from Melbourne on Sat night [ find a place to crash in or a couch to sleep on ]!! Of course, that will depend mostly on what the weather holds for this weekend - I don't dive in 15 mph easterly winds or air temps below 60 deg!
Key Largo and the wrecks are my favorite dives! The Eagle is the best!
And if you've never dove with them before, Conch Repbulic in Tavanier goes to all of these dive sites and is less expensive then the Key Largo dive boats. A walk off the street price is $70 including 2 tanks.

for anyone who's coming....(or just in the area and wants to meet up for dinner)
looks like we are thinking of Sr Frijoles on Saturday night at 7pm....no idea how many people there'll be (maybe 10 or so) and probably we cannot make a reservation - so we'll meet at 7pm or so and if we need to wait for a table, will head in the general direction of the bar
