How Do I Register on the SingleDivers.com site?

• www.singledivers.com
• click on Forums or click on Take me to the Surface Interval Forums under Forums
• Click on REGISTER in the upper right corner
• Choose a FUN SCREEN NAME ...email admin@singledivers.com if you need help. (Changing your screen name is very difficult to do after the fact so please take a few minutes to come up with a name you will like!)
• Finish the registration process

NOTE: Only upgraded premium members can sign up for our trips. The premium membership enables you to receive private trip communications, see the profiles of who else is going, PM others on the trip (and other premium members on the site) as well as entitle you to numerous specials, discounts, perks and deals throughout the year.

 

How Do I Upgrade my Membership or Renew my Membership?

• click on Forums or click on Take me to the Surface Interval Forums under Forums
• Login in the upper right (you know you are logged in when you see your screen name vs guest)
• Click on the white links in the dark blue bar....the last one is MEMBERSHIP
• Choose Premier (or higher) or if you are active duty military choose our Diver's In Uniform and we will work with you to validate your complementary membership. OTHERWISE... choose the payment option of either paypal or the SD payment portal
• if you choose paypal your membership will be upgraded automatically and you can proceed immediately to book per the instructions below.
• If you choose the SD payment portal please allow 2-3 days for your subscription to be cleared, validated and manually upgraded
• Once your membership is upgraded you can book a trip with us.

 

Why do I have to log in more than once?

• You do NOT need to be logged in nor registered to read information on our site.
• The site has two primary areas that require you to log into....the forums and the homepage which allows you to access the booking system/shopping cart.
• No matter where you are you MUST LOG IN to either post or book.  To ensure your information is safe we REQUIRE YOU TO LOG IN EVERYTIME YOU LEAVE A SECURE AREA. This means if you leave the forums to book you need to log in again. If you leave the shopping cart to post in the forums you must log in again. 
• YOU WILL ALWAYS USE THE SAME LOGIN INFO BUT YOU LOG INTO EACH DIFFERENT PART OF THE SITE DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU WANT TO DO. (This is a security measure to keep your information safe.)

How do I Book a Trip with SingleDivers.com? 

 

To book you trip please follow the following simple steps:

 

1. Register a FUN screen name

2. Log into the FORUMS and upgrade your membership to Premier or higher (you can also do when you are creating your screen name. If you use paypal you will be automatically upgraded by the system. If you use the SD payment portal it will take 24-48 hrs to verify your payment and manually upgrading you)

3. Once your membership is upgraded and your account is upgraded you can then log into the homepage as follows and book a trip.

• Trips
• Choose the trip from the trip table and either click on the BOOK NOW link to book or DETAILS LINK to be taken to the forums for the trip information and to ask questions, see who is going etc.
• Complete the trip booking process either by paying in full to qualify for our early booking discounts or by paying the deposit for the trip you are interested in.
• Complete your online documents for your trip within 21 days to avoid a $75 late document fee OR within 3 days if signing up within 30 days of the trip's departure date.
• You will be added to the TRIP PM (Private Message) within several days of signing up for a trip, which send courtesy emails to your inbox when an admin posts in it or you can check all messages sent 24/7 by logging into the forums and clicking on the message icon by your name.

 

HOW DO I GET REPLIES TO MY QUESTIONS?

 

We will answer your question in this topic quoting your question so you get a courtesy email indicating we have replied to your questions. 

We will update the TRIP FAQ located in the 2nd topic listing for this trip.

We will update the main trip topic #1 if applicable.

Hi Henry...currently the trip has preset payments amts which PRE COVID worked pretty good. Now with covid we have been looking at other forms of payment. Currently if anyone needs more creative payment options we are working them out manually. Shoot me an email kamala@singledivers.com if you want to explore more options.

Noticed in the #1 post under sample itinerary it says we disembark on June 3rd, but every where else says the trip is till the 4th. Can you confirm which day we disembark? Looking to get airfare and a hotel for the night before and possibly after squared away.

 

Also noticed on the Nautilus website that the rendezvous spot at Tesoro is Nautilus's land based operation and its says on their website that they offer complimentary check out dives for those booked on one of their liveaboards prior to boarding. They also say that you can rent steel 100's for use on the liveaboard. Any of this correct?

Looks like the 4th is correct since 9 days is from the 27th to the 4th.

Thanks Jose as always great questions. They prefer we do it since its a group charter. I do not know if they have any limitations on the number of steel tanks available for example but I'll shoot a message and find out. I've been going back and forth getting clarification on a number of open issues including the

new $375 park fee that the boat is outraged about. So much so that they are going to give everyone a $375 boat credit towards nitrox (possibly tank rentals) and boutique items. I should know in the next few days if they plan to have us pay this fee onboard? As a group? Or as individuals before the trip? All 3 options are being looked at to facilitate this new requirement.

 

Thanks for the TIMELY questions. I am hoping that everyone who arrives a day early will take advantage of the complementary dive(s) which we were also getting full clarification on along with the park fee and ongoing covid requirements.

 

The group hotel IS the host hotel so that makes it easy for everyone.

Thanks for the update Kamala! I'll wait to hear from you regarding the tanks. Would prefer the steel 100 since I'm probably bringing my drysuit and could use the extra weight on the tank and off my weight belt.

 

I'm sorry if I missed it but are we waiting to hear from you regarding the checkout dives also or do we do that one on our own?

 

It would really great if they allowed us to offset the Park Fee with a credit. That'll get them repeat business points from me

 

Wonder how they may end up handling those of us who may be vaccinated by then?

Well dang it I lost a really long reply

So here is the short version:

 

1. Tanks will be able to be rented in advance and paid for via your park fee credit.
2. I have pricing and will post it shortly but the upgrade for the week is VERY reasonable...under $50.
3. We are helping to set up the free check out dives AND any extra paid dives that people want who are arriving early.
4. The boat IS allowing tons of things to be paid for via the park fee credit. I'll have a full list soon but I can't find anything not included when its all said and done.
5. Covid related matters are evolving as we speak so I would expect some changes (and maybe a lot for those who have had the shots) by our trip but as it stands now the boat is taking the utmost degree of caution and erring on the conservative side since the CDC is still giving some conflicting information about what you can do and can't do after the shots. That being said prepare for now to adhere to the current requirements which are: test up to 5 days before arriving (this *may* change), bring your temperature log with you, and take a courtesy rapid test prior to boarding the boat (mandatory but no charge) and then test again to return home which may change for people with shots.

As these subjects evolve we will keep you apprised.

Yes it is. The boat was upset that the Mexican govt increased the park fees so much so they are offering a credit of the park fees towards incidentals such as nitrox etc. So yes you can upgrade to them. We'll get you on the list You will settle up on the trip and not in advance like you usually do.

 

I had to pay the park fees to the boat on everyone's behalf. So we will set it up so you can pay for that to SD but you will get CREDIT FOR THOSE FEES FROM THE BOAT for nitrox, extra days diving if you arrive early,, bigger tanks, shop stuff etc.

The Nautilus website has a scan thing for your phone so that you can track your redeemable Park Fee Account.  You need a guest access code, and your last name to retrieve it.  Do you have a guest access code for our group?
