Hello gang...the dates have been set and confirmed. You will need to allow Oct 24 to Nov 5th for travel and vacation.
The dates are now set...we will depart LAX Oct 24 around 11pm and arrive in Fiji Oct 26th early am. Take commuter flight to Kadavu around noon and arrive about 1pm Oct 26th. Depart 10 days later on Nov 5th and arrive in LAX Nov 5th.
I am confirming the pricing on the commuter flight and it is the weekend already so I may not have the final component of the trip's pricing until Sunday or Monday. I will post the trip once I have this final price!! I can't wait!!! -ww

Well gang...I thought I could post this today but it may be this evening. There are still issues with the flights. Working with 1 resort and 2 airlines is extremely challenging not to mention several differnet languages!

Recovery time....
Well we have finally worked out the airline arrangements and here are our options:
1. Depart LAX Oct 23rd around 11pm arrive in Fiji Oct 25th around 6am depart Nadi Fiji around noon and arrive in Kadavu 1pm. (flight time is about 12 hours but we cross the international date line.) Start diving Oct 26th thru Nov 1st...or a total of 7 days diving. Sightseeing on Nov 2nd and depart Fiji Nov 3rd arriving back into LAX Nov 3rd. (Nov 3rd is a Thursday.)
or

You know I'm in for this trip! It really doesn't make any difference to me - I'll take the same amount of vacation days whether we're back on Thursday or back on Saturday. Whatever the group wants - or you decide - is fine with me.

Ok so the hotel has confirmed the extension from Nov 3rd to Nov 5th...just waiting on Air Pacific and local Fijian Air to do the same. Kamala
