Guess I'll add my two cents.....First the Blublood thing has nothing t do with blood lines it's a Dodgers thing...No boo's from the audience please........My name is gar Sanders I was raised in Redondo Beach Ca. did my first diving in Catalina back when I was about ten, eleven something like that when the Uncs used to throw a tank, reg and weights on us and say have fun! since that time although I have always enjoyed watersports of all kind, including freediving, I hadn't gotten into any air until I was certified last year. Being in New Mexico most of time underwater is spent in a hole in the ground..but hey training is training! I did get to spend a couple weeks in Hawaii last summer and got lots of down time off Ohahu, Maui and The Big Island. I am looking forward to traveling to many exotic locals and seeing lots of bottom time....just under 50 dives at this time but planning on having a couple hundred by 2005 so I hope you folks are planning lots of good trips! look forward to getting wet with ya all!

I had my fiest opportunity to dive Catalina this past September. I loved it! Incredible life. I want to go back and dive it more. What a wonderful place to get your start!

Thanks guys. Ya Walter Catalina is a pretty great place. I haven't been in the water there for many years. Used to eat a lot of lobster while I was there 
My Uncle still has a house in avalon and the cousin has it for a couple weeks this summer and invited me out. Gonna try and make it as long as it doesn't interfer with the other 4 trips I have planned thru the summer!
If anybody is ever in the So Cal area and wants to hit an extremly cool and easy shore dive the marine preserve at Catalina is awsome! I think it's still only a 10 or 15 dollar round trip ferry ride out to the island. Great day trip.

Just about got the details worked out for June...6/13-20 Bonaire Dive Festival...and we are going to be about $200-300 less then everyone else!!!!
