I looked that up but then failed to send it to you. The flight out of Jakarta should be 1:10 pm or later.

Christie thank you, as this trip gets closer you will find two new forms under "MY TRIPS", Flight Details (where you would enter this information from your post) and Travel Information (which collects information like passport details, seating preferences etc. for the charter flights unique to this trip).

A couple questions on the activities:

 

-I can't seem to find the updated schedule; if we're arriving on 1/7, how many full days for tours does that give us?

 

-For the half-day private tour, what's the latest that could start, i.e. is it possible to do a half-day the day we arrive?

 

-I'm guessing the Uluwatu Sunset Tour isn't a full-day but rather an evening thing; what time does that depart? Can that be combined with a different full-day tour, or with a half-day tour?

 

I think the Ubud tour is currently my first choice but I'd like to know more about my options. Thanks.

I updated the sample itinerary in post #1 to match the new dates since I apparently had not done that yet.  It looks like if you arrive on the 7th you would be able to do tours and the 8th and 9th then travel to Sarong on the 10th:

 

SAMPLE ITINERARY

Itinerary will vary based upon conditions but will usually look as follows:

 

? - Jan 8, 2021: This is the LAST suggested day that you travel from the US so you can have 1 day in Bali Preferably or Jakarta (2nd choice due to safety concerns) before flying to SARONG.  SingleDivers.com will make hotel reservations for you AT THE GROUP HOTEL for all early days of arrival. The group leader will plan to arrivve approx 3 or more days prior to the flight to Sarong so you won't be along.

Jan 10, 2021: Fly to SARONG

Jan 11, 2021: Day of arrival to Sarong transfer to boat and get settled in

Jan 12th thru 21, 2021: DIVE! DIVE! DIVE!

Jan 22, 2021: Day of departure FROM AMBON back to Bali (flight from Bali after 5:35pm) or Jakarta (flight from Jakarta after 1:10pm).

Jan 22, 2021: The EARLIEST you can fly from Bali or Jakarta to the US or your home.

Jan 22, 2021: Depending on where you are flying too you will arrive back in the US on the same day you left due to the Int'l dateline.

 

Since you arrive at 3:22 it's likely that's too late to do any tours that day other than maybe the sunset tour.

OK, so Christie and I both want to do the Ubud tour one day, and a full-day private tour the other day. We're not 100% decided on the private tour stops, but we're thinking maybe one of the gates, Tanah Lot temple, and Uluwatu.

Great. Usually the private tour is for those who only have part of a day to tour but we can set it up for anything you like. The price of the private may vary based upon how much you do. That price is a for a short day but won't vary too much. In the end its all pretty reasonable after the major expense of getting there.

 

The sooner we get some plans laid out the better. Right now the tours are NOT set up in any particular order... but as people request them we will start to put them into order based upon who wants them and how long they are there extra.   I hope this helps. k

Good to know. If we want to start early with Tanah Lot, maybe it would make more sense to do a private half-day tour, getting back in time for the Uluwatu sunset tour, then do that? But that will really depend on where we're staying.
